Starplaza Sale: DKNY and Miss Sixty

Starplaza sale started yesterday with tons of great items on sale including real brand DKNY and Miss Sixty Fall Collection! I have to say this is the best sale yet in the past three months or more. Last months sale was total crap, but the waiting paid off because i bought tons of stuff this time around.
For members who like to save money, just wait for the sales and you can have that same item for half price. The only bad thing about it is, you have to wait for it.

Real Brand: Always goes on sale, but you have to wait months.
Starplaza Shops: Random items go on sale, old and new, only Bisou is least unlikely.

UPDATE: i surprisingly received some of the royalty items in my suite today, but dont worry people your not really missing out on anything, the necklace is super huge and looks pixelated.

About a week ago stardoll sent some people a message telling them to join a club named Stardoll Royalty. About 34,000 members joined and no others, after that, were able to join (even if you received the message) because the "Join button" was removed. I was one of those people...LOL.
Well now they will be receiving gifts from the looks of the spoilers, the jewelry is cute and they possibly might receive clothing as well because of the bags provided.

Remember the strange red spoilers from the Stardesign Clothes post? Well, turns out i was totally correct about where they were going to end up, which is in stardesign. Although, they arent in the stardesign for everyone, but for members in the UK. Its a part the the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) campaign called Moodie Wear where you can express moods by designing how you feel that day and possibly win stardollars from your design.

Another great thing about it is theyre for non-superstars as well and are able to be sold in starbazaar. So, of course, im selling some now...LOL.

You can get there by clicking on the green phone you magically received in your suites. People who arent in the UK will need a manual proxy to access the stardesign section.

Sneek Peek: New Stardesign Clothes

I came across these few items in the spoilers and two of them seem to look like future stardesign items. When a new stardesign item appears in the spoilers its usually that bold red color with the detail in black. The thing that struck me most unusual were the grey colored items because they look like they could be stardesign items, but i dont know if they are. They dont have much detail, but theyre not red like the others. So, i dont really know where theyll show up, what do you think?

Infulence Magazine Released

Influence Magazine has just been released created by John2_el_major & Wylie1995 . The graphics are simply amazing. He has insanely improved on his graphic skills, holy crap batman! I am totally guilty of not reading the articles in these magazines, but im sure im not the only one. So no critque on that, i do have one suggestion though. The typography of the cover and Fall Trends isnt up to par with the graphic skills and can be improved upon in the next issues. The Cover Graphic is amazing, but the text layout needs more.

Free Pink Hair Dye

Stardoll added a contest promotion for the new game Girls Life Makeover for Nintendo DS.
In the contest you pick out makeup for Ashley Tisdale and submit it. After submiting you add some info. Then you will receive a Free Pink Hair Dye from Doree in your medoll editor.

Migliukee For Stardoll Controversy

UPDATE: Its true! Its ALL True! Migliukee Stole the designs! And for that reason stardoll now removed the shop! Thanks Migliukee, Im sure you ruined it for REAL graphics designers out there now.

OK i have been getting comments saying that the drawings were really not made by the stardoll member Migliukee. Plus, there may even may be proof! Unless, they are the same person, but i dont know.
I was sent to a blog called PAPERFASHION and the person who owns it is an amazing fashion artist and she uses the blog to showcase her work. The drawings on stardoll look EXACTLY like them. Some say Migliukee may have stolen the drawings and submitted them to stardoll admin as her own. Also, other doubts pop up because, Katie Rodgers, the owner of PAPERFASHION is from Boston, MA not Lithuania. Plus, Katie doesnt look 12 years old, which is the age of Migliukee.

So questions are, Does Katie Rodgers have a stardoll account called "Migliukee" who is from Lithuania? Or Did "Migliukee" steal the images from PAPERFASHION blog and submit then as her own?

Lithuanian Graphics Turn into a Stardoll Shop

Notice the spoilers everyones raving about? Well theyre so amazing that people thought they were the new Limited Edition. If I translated right, apparently, Lithuanian Stardoll member, Migliukee, drew them and submitted them to stardoll admin. Stardoll liked them so much that they decided to use the graphic dresses and open a new shop called "Migliuke’a" in starplaza. The shop is suppose to show up very soon. Plus,
She even mentions the assumed prices of the items.  Isnt that insanely cool!? The clothes definitely look like the stardoll drawing style. Im completely amazed at her accomplishment.

Do you think its all true? Whats your take on stardoll accepting designs from members?

Star Awards Nominations

Star Awards is hosting an award show for their 2nd Anniversary. Nominations will take place from Nov 1st thru Nov 17th. Thats gives almost two and half weeks for nominations.Nominations are not actual votes so dont get that confused. There is a second process where the commitee picks out 4 nominees from each category, then the voting starts. There have been so many controversies with these award shows and so much drama, but this year has been different so im curious to see how it will turn out. Im alittle disappointed there isnt a "best stardesigner" category, but whatever...LOL.
