Designer of the month July 2010 is RAMZESIK205! Her designs are awesome and original, my personal favs are the DKNY scarf tops. Shes from Poland and a Justin Bieber fan. Her favorite colors are just like mine, black and pink. Her suite is quite stunning so definitely check it out!

Featured Bazaar: Kolibe

Hot Designer on the rise, Kolibe! Her tops are amazing and super creative she makes shirts out of shirts, haha, how awesome is that. What's great is that she has different styles too. She designs "fallen angel" type of tops to cute girl "pretty in pink" tops, my fav being the glittery one for 8sd. Check out the jean vest top, it has great detail and looks perfect.  Also, i notice she has beef (a conflict) with Zivyle, who apparently steals peoples designs ( totally true :} ) as you can see she sells that panel too lol.

Featured Bazaar: joanne1305

I'm sure a lot of you have seen joanne1305's suite. She is the designer of the month of May! Her designs are amazing, so prefect and beautiful! She was close to winning CG so many times and actually won once. She has so many achievements, i just had to feature her even though she is very known. Her panel designs are my favorite i have almost all of them..lol.

NOTE 2 Readers:  I'm continuing my featured designers section, only i will not be doing mag covers anymore, i will be creating "designer flyers," so to speak, because i dont have time to create full mag covers anymore. Sorry gals hope you will still enjoy the 'featured designers' section.

Bazaar Issue: Sweetlus

Hey yall! Sweetlus is designer of the month for the October Issue! I remember tons of people asking me for Michael Jackson designs and i would tell people i dont design faces, well like celebrity ones. So didnt know where to go or who to ask because Madmacmoms (she does faces) designs were deleted.
Anyways, months later i find this girl who has MJ all over her room! She has tons of different MJ designs she created and is totally bananas over him. I love her picture frames the most, but she also does T-shirts and stuff.
So if you love MJ too or were one of those people who asked me for some MJ tees, check out her suite and pick something out :)

Bazaar Issue: Pauliespoo

I am way overdue with this months issue..lol, i know. Anyways, i would like to introduce you to Mrs.Pauliespoo who is part of the adult clique on stardoll and has some awesome designs. She is totally into "the Arts" and has a ton of guys in her suite!LOL. Who wouldnt want to visit a suite like that?right?!

She has always been an artist since she was younger and discovered stardoll in search of a place to play with her niece, but of course when she found the stardesign section, like most of us designers, she officially became a stardoll addict. She started creating guy faces because she wanted to create a family environment in her suite. Soon you see rockers, chefs, directors and all kinds of people doing stuff in there. Her suite is definitely one to check out.

1.what inspired u to start designing in stardoll?
Inspiration.... I have always been an artist. Went on to higher education in the arts. My favorite medium was clay and pottery. But I love to paint and sketch. I found SD while looking for someplace to play with my niece, and when I found the design function, I was hooked!
It's so much fun because it's like a 3-D puzzle, challenging to create a picture or design with just the shapes and option to manipulate the shapes. Having only 50 items is a constraint, but also add to the challenge.

2.why did u decide to start creating man faces in stardesign?
I created Male faces on the pillows because I wanted to have someone else inhabit my suite!
As an older SDollie, I'm used to companionship and family, and I wanted that feeling in my suite.
I was at first surprised to see male dolls here, but then I realized that it's a fun creative site for guys too. SD offers lots of male fashion and this way I get to dress my guys up also.
They just add another layer of fun to my play.

3. what inspires your stardoll style?
The "arts" inspire my SD style. Recently I've made copies of "designer" styles, not the LOGO type but the pure color and design of high fashion. My list of Best Friends contains some of the top designers here on SD and they are always inspirational to me.
I'm so happy to include thatgirlsophy on my list!

Bazaar Issue: featuring r1ma

I first found out about r1ma through her blog a few months ago. I didnt know she was a designer till i ran into those awesome Marc Jacobs leggings that she had posted. Once i spotted those i was hooked. Plus, i come to find out, she has a ton of gorgeous creations right off the runway. I truly think her nitch is making runway collections on stardesign panels to hang up in your suite. They are simply amazing and i personally would not even want to try to make something so complex. You can definitely catch UndamyUmbrellla wearing r1ma's fabulous creations, staying updated with the lastest fashions, i can understand why or maybe they have some modeling agreement going on ...lol.

Bazaar Issue: Melody1970

When Melody1970 first asked me to visit her page, i was absolutely amazed! Her designs are so beautiful and original. Her collection mainly consist of gorgeous floral patterns in different textures of dresses and skirts. She also layers them to create fabulous gowns.

As i read her presentation I've come to learn that shes a big fan of Stephanie Meyer who created the Twilight Story. She also has two children on stardoll Melody_70 and Cullenboy_1996. You can also buy her collections from Melody_70 who has a fashion store of her mothers collections.

Melody1970 is a wonderful person and very nice, so if you have any other questions about her im sure shell answer them in her guestbook!

Bazaar Issue: Featuring sayha84

Its May and my designer for the month is sayha84! I dont know this gal very well, but the other day she came to my guestbook and asked me to check out her designs and of course i did. I love to see new designs, it amazes me what people come up with, but enough about me. I was pretty amazed at what she had going on in her suite. She has a school! I mean a REAL stardoll school. She teaches members how 2 design text and simple cartoon characters,step by step, which i think is awesome! No more questions about "how do u do text on shirts in stardesign?" She will teach you, but only if your really want to learn. Her club is hardcore, you cant get accepted unless you complete the qualifications. So go get your learn on....LOL.

A Message From Debbiecat4

I received a message from debbiecat4 today which was awesome...LOL well for me anyways and its so true. Everything she said i totally agreed with, but didnt do anything about it. I thought "whatever... i lost my stuff and its an improvement for everyone so there." But once i received this message she gave me that little push to finally send a message to stardoll and i think that everyone who agrees should do it too. I mean, why not right? there always sending us those dumb automated messages everytime we have a problem so why not all of us send them one too...LOL

Just copy and paste this and send it to stardoll customer service:

Dear Stardoll,

I just want to say that I hate the new changes made to StarDesign. In an attempt to improve things, you managed to have all the top designers lose all of their designs...many, like MadMacMom, Keira-V, thatgirlsophy, paulafer, maria_nl, debbiecat4, orange008, cndt, singingmermaid, Honey_Melody, HarajukuGirlPL, stardust4444, jf2nd, peach_peach, Blackmambayeah -- just to name a few -- have lost hundreds...literally!

When you first added StarDesign, many of us complained that our designs kept disappearing. Unfortunately, you took so many months to "fix" the problem.... and WE found a better way...all on our own! We were storing them in files on our own computers. Of course, those files are now useless. And your "improvement" now allows us only to have 10 designs at a time.

At the very least, you could have given us some warning...
I implore you to go back to the way it was. You make more money when we sell more designs. It would help you too.

Should you decide to leave things as they are, with designs on your server, please consider the following possibilities:

(a) Allow us to put an item on a mannequin and chose to buy more than 1 of that item. That saves the time and trouble of setting up each one individually.

(c) Consider increasing the number of designs we can keep at one time, with a storage closet for those designs.

(c) OR, if we must have a limit of 10 fashion and 10 interior designs, consider combining them so that we can choose how to allocate our 20 designs OR, better still, let the designs work for interiors AND fashion so they don't need to be made twice.

(d) Consider an advisory panel, made up of users...YES, USERS... In the case of StarDesign, contact the people who use it most...the people on your top designers list.

Bazaar Issue: featuring Debbiecat4

Its alittle late into April, but i havent forgot about the talented designers on stardoll! I met debbiecat4 a few months back and recognized that she was a very nice respectful lady. I didnt know she was older till i read her presentation, to my surprise she was 50 years old! I thought wow thats so amazing how so many different age groups can be attracted to the same site...LOL. Besides her being and older woman she also is one of the most talented members on stardoll. I know almost everyone wants to know how to make text on a shirt because i believe its one of the hardest things to create in stardesign, but debbiecat4 can say almost anything on shirt like its a piece of cake. I truely admire her for that talented. I dont even have the patients to create letters, especially those S's, theyre a pain in the butt...LOL. Im definitely rusty in that department. Well all i have to say is speak out with debbiecat4's Text Tees!

Oh yes and check out her suite! Its absolutely gorgeous!

BAZAAR ISSUE: featured designer Baebina

Hey yall its about that time again for our new featured designer! The first thing that attracted me about baebina was her suite of course. Its absolutely amazing! She is so creative with everyroom i never knew those little rooms could have so much potential. Even her main room is made as if it was outdoors...awesome! Next, are her designs. Her eyes and fingers must be aching creating these fabulous graphics on tees, i know mines do! She created almost every disney character. Usually designers stick to favorites or most popular, but she went all out creating all of them. Plus, the designs look amazing, i hate it when some designers do a half ass job on making a shirt and expect to sell it for lots of stardollars. Observe and learn, but dont copy. No one likes a copycat.

BAZAAR ISSUE: featured designer HarajukugirlPL

Hey yall as most of you know i feature Top Designers on stardoll. I came across HarajukugirlPL and notice she had this amazing shop pairing Cool designed Tees with with skirts and shorts, creating punk styles outfits through out her shop. She also dresses up harajuku styled maniquins using self designed tights and all. Her color combinations are pink, purple, black and red, but she uses those colors in a variety of ways. I'm not sure if she speaks much english because her presentation is mostly written in polish, but that doesnt stop you from having some great designs.

BAZAAR ISSUE: featured designer LATIN91

For my first Designer feature i was looking for someone with unique qualities, that brought something good to stardoll. Many times i would log in to stardoll and get an update notice that there was a "giftcode competition" i thought wow that is so cool. Well, noticing the owner i checked out her suite to find that this girl wasn't a new discovery, but someone known for her amazing designs and collection as well.

THATGIRLSOPHY: what inspired you to start designing clothes on stardoll?

LATIN91: My uncle whos a clothes designer here in NY city being around him from child seeing him and my mom makin them also the runways and show amazing i DONT SEE HIM MUCH :'( I MISS HIM ALOT

THATGIRLSOPHY: Oh wow thats so cool! thats too bad you cant see him, but i could tell by your style that you have some great influence on you. Are there any shows you specifically attended in NY that caught your attention?

LATIN91: Omg i was a child wow I cant remember the names, but i can tell u this I love this show called Stylista, Runway, Americas Top Model and so much more omg i can go on and on.

THATGIRLSOPHY: Omg i love those shows too! im so addicted.
I notice you have a club where you have competitions for gift codes...its a great idea...i admit i tried to get one myself...lol.
What made you start having competitions for gift codes?

LATIN91: It all started with a friend here on SD she was telling me how she will never be able to be SS and how unfortunetly she is if u know what I mean about not having money so that broke my heart and since that day i have decided to give Giftcodes for free and hoping that the person who need it the most wins like my last giftcode comp i had this girl who won but she won it for her best friend and that really touched my heart and made me so happy

THATGIRLSOPHY: Actually i think i was there with that one... that was really cool. I was glad that person won. Some people were mad she was giving it away, i thought that was alittle selfish of them.
On your Club presentation i notice you have something alittle personal stated there. It seems like your club wasn't all about gift codes before, but something more.
Can you tell me alittle more about that? and the meaning of canube-yourself?

LATIN91: Well about the club I truly can say is i really made that name up cause i wanted people to be open and ask any questions they wanted too, since alot of the time people cant open up to anyone and till this day i still hope this club will be a blessing to everyone. The name canube-yourself has so much meaning to me but im going to make it simple when I was in middle school I was in this club in my school where it was really kinda like a popular thing and couldnt be myself just cause of there stupid rules, so i stepped up and decided to be who i am and be the person I am and if they didnt like me for who I was, then they werent ever my friends. Now that im in high school i have this club called canube-yourself which has been such an inspiration to me and have helped alot of people deal with things they cant in there real life. So yea, and since my moms a pyscologist I guess I got that from her lol.

THATGIRLSOPHY: Is there anything you would like to add or tell the stardoll users out there?

LATIN91: and for the last? all i can say is I have found some amazing friends in here that i wish i had in the real world who are so loving and so caring and so wouldnt change them for anything and all i can say is just be yourself and you'll be much happier.
